RESIDENTIAL GROUP HOME FACILITIES:​
Resourceful Refuge, Inc. provides a least-restrictive home living environment unlike any other. With a maximum of four individuals in the residence, all with private rooms, and keyed access! There is 24 hours, 7 days a week supportive care in an extended family setting. At Resourceful Refuge, Inc., those serviced are engaged in person-centered care-plans, promoting social and recreational interaction. Theres ample opportunity to participate in events and programs within the community. We cater to those they may have more intense needs, or those that have physical disabilities as well.

Resourceful Refuge, Inc. supports a distinct living approach that encourages independence and societal inclusion. Individuals receive varying levels of support according their own personal goals. Gaining independence through learning and practicing everyday responsibilities to include: cooking dinner, washing laundry, dressing, grooming and cleaning their rooms with the assistance of our reliable support staff. We offer transportation to and from appointments as well as leisure activities of choice.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT​ PROGRAM:​
Resourceful Refuge, Inc. (RRINC); offers a Community Engagement program, a Non-Center Based Group Day Support for Adults with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities. All services provided are directed by the individual and their person-centered plan. The program goal is to support adults ages 18-100; to gain, retain, or improve skills necessary to form positive interpersonal behavior, social ability, greater independence, and personal choice. The program is designed to improve creativity, autonomy, and independence of those who chose to be a part of our program

Services are offered in small groups in the larger community across Virginia. These services are provided based on the needs and preferences of the individual being servedActivities are conducted at naturally occurring times in a variety of natural settings, for ample opportunities to interact with persons without disabilities (other than those paid to provide support). utilizing the community as a learning environment provides a wide variety of opportunities to build relationships in the community
